Inquiry: How to make English subtitle work in btorrent movie

  Hi,
  
  i just downloaded the movie Untold Scandal via bit torrent and will like to find out how to make the english subtitles works.
  
  below are the 3 files names that come with the download.
  
  Untold Scandal [ECHiZEN].avi
  Untold Scandal [ECHiZEN].idx
  Untold Scandal [ECHiZEN].sub
  
  million thanks to anyone who know the answer to my inquiry.

  try this,download this window media classic player.Open the file from there and under the file option,there is a load subtitle option.

  Simple, delete the *.sub file and keep the *.idx one. Then play the video.

  You need this thing called vobsubs. and VLC media player.

  vobsub definitely...answer can be found wif search engine...next time more discrete can dun let us know where you got the video...later market spoilt how and ppl misuse it or show of too brazen got the rest in trouble how?

  Just install it and it'll work when you play the avi file with any player

  Yes, you still need them. Just make sure the 3 files (avi, sub, idx) are in the same folder and have the same name (eg. video.***). Open the avi file in any player and the subtitles will be shown. All you have to do is install vobsub

  once VobSub installed, remember to click on the 'path' tab at the properties dialog box, click 'browse' and add the directory of your movie where the subtitle is...default if you put the movie with the idx and sub files together, click 'apply' and 'ok'.
  
  if movie player is open before, close it and open again, movie should play with subs in windows and realplayer also. other players i have not tried yet.
