Ripping Video

  hi fellow friends,
  
  Some movie files need to verify license from the license server before playing the video in media player 9.
  
  I need to know if there is any way to copy the movie files.
  I have known of software that can record the screen but have problem recording the sound unless record with mic.
  
  any familiar with video making software?
  can it, lets say, record a scene while playing DVD movie and then edit with together with another scene from another movie?

  Does it work when you cut off internet connection?
  
  Try playing using other players like VLC.
  
  Video editing softwares? Pre-installed in Windows is Windows Movie Maker. There are more advanced ones out there like Avid, Premiere Pro and Ulead, but those are not free. They have trial editions though.
