U try this: type Ping singnet.com.sg

means it is ok (The numbers might be a little different though)
IF the above is not ok, type IPCONFIG
U should see the IP address to be 192.168.*.* (*=any other number)..if u dun, that means if it is not linked to your router.
Then u type IPCONFIG /RELEASE
Then Type IPCONFIG /RENEW
