  this is a common problem faced by many....
  actually wanted zen vision m but that time my friend bought ipod video then i see wah the design so slim so elegant with reflective plate...thinking back of the zen vision was so thick....so...

  btw converting into mp4 or ipod video formats from dvd rip avi will degrade the video rite?? not ming xian when play on the small screen but when linked to video out put on big screenies then see the diff.... sommore zen vision m got radio

  when u rip the dvd to avi by compressing with a codec, u are already degrading the video quality.
  
  when u convert to IPod specifications, u are resizing the video small, of course when u upscale to view on ur comp it will not be as good as your original source.

  erm..so u thinkin of watchin video's everywhere u go rite..recommend u get a psp..haha..tats what i got..even though bulky and have to buy memory stick but the video quality v good and the screen is big. like having a mini theatre on the go..

  With the new 80gb version out(upgraded form the 60gig),the price of 30 gig on ipod site http://www.apple.com/ipod/ipod.html is now US$249
  so has the price in singapore drop?? $249 X 1.55 current exchange rate =385.95 + shipping cost all those should be around $400++ range bah instead of 468 to 500+ last time. So in singapore has it drop yet?

  Hey guys im planning to purchase the cretive zen vision M.
  
  Just a few questions
  
  1.Is the video resolution good? I saw the creative video.. something like the size of the ipod video. not tt good.
  
  2.Is it durable? My creative zen micro kept breaking down. Now the harddisk is spoilt and warranty is up. Will it face the same problems?
  
  3.When do you think the price will drop further?
  
  4.Can someone technical give me a detailed comparison between the 2 products?

  1. The resolution is same as ipod video but colour is better than ipod video.
  
  2. I just using it for the 4th day so cant comment much.

  1.how can i check what's the format or type of file my videos in my computer has?
  
  2.and am i able to transfer my photos directly to the zen vision M?
  
  eg. i go on a vacation and i wanna use a cable to transfer photos from the camera to the player directly without a use of a computer. am i able to do so?
