I can't remember what's causing the 20gb. Most likely the language pack and the printer drivers. You can search on the Apple forum (apple.com) to find the answer.
Then in the Applications folder. You can most probably drag all the stuff you'll not use into the Trash can. E.g. I deleted all my games and GarangeBand -

Once in awhile, the Mac need a maintenance... OnyX does a good job and it's free. In that site, click "Download OnyX 1.7.4 for Mac OS X 10.4 (Tiger)" for your MacBook.

It allows you to run misc tasks of system maintenance, to configure certain hidden parameters of the Finder, Dock, Safari, Dashboard, Exposé, Disk Utility... to delete cache, to remove a certain number of files and folders that may become cumbersome, to see the detailed info of your configuration, to preview the different logs and CrashReporter reports, to check the Preferences files and more. -

Preview has been working well for me.
By the way, the icons "pop-up" can be enabled at the system preferences.
Go to system preferences, then the dock, then enable magnification. -

to control how much it magnifies, go to System Preferences -> Dock -> Magnification slider. -
Ok, thanks for the help with the "pop-up" effect. Well, Preview kinda sucks cuz it does not allow me to like in Windows, change the picture I'm viewing easily by pressing on the cursor keys. Btw, I just transferred some of my pictures from my Thinkpad over, wow...the pictures seem to be in greater detail. May I ask,what do you guys use to play your MP3s on the Mac OS? iTunes or others? I use iTunes only for music.
What sort of licencing issues are you talking about? -

Preview is pretty good in my opinion, if you wanna view a series of pictures just Command+A and open them with Preview all at once.
iTunes. It doesn't have any liscensing stuff... Unless you buy from iTunes Store, which is only available in Singapore next year... -
Hello all again, the MacBook has been pretty fun to play with so far. Its so casual and fun unlike that of the XP.Haha,the experience I had of it has so far been good. Just wondering as I've yet to try it out, is the Mac's iWork's compatiable with the Window's Office software?

if im not wrong, RTF (and maybe DOC) is quite safe. but suggest u test it out on windows machines as well. -
