remove indian from ur regional settings.
sometime ago kena before. all become chinese after installing msn cos it made zh-sg as the first language to parse.

What do you mean by indian words? Is it tamil? You must have visited some bollywood sites recently...

Google sometimes is very irritating, because they check your IP address to find out which country you are from and will automatically re-direct you to the local version of it.
Sometimes, there's a mistake in checking and you end up with a wrong version of Google.
One way to avoid, is to type the URL directly: www.google.com.sg for Google Singapore or www.google.com/ncr for the main version of Google.
It should be using the English version, unless you have other languages installed which might cause problems with it. Change your language settings to solve this problem if that's the case.
