Laptop & projector headaches

  Hi.. I am using a Fujitsu S Series Lifebook Laptop.. and a Toshiba TLP791 Projector. And its really strange cos when my laptop loads up.. the projector will project the windows 98 start up screen. BUT when windows is actually loaded... it will just show the default TOSHIBA screen.. I tried pressing Fn10 but it totally doesn't work. Any Any Tips Hints or anything i'm doing wrong???

  Try unplugging the cable and off the projector for about one minute.
  
  Switch on the projector, let it start, then plug in the cable.
  
  Use FnF10 to see if appears on screen.

  locate a special function button in your lap top...depress it together with the appropriate FUNCTION no. button.

  yeah tried F10 liao... and unplugging and restarting and all...
  
  It is weird tt.. the windows start up screen show.. but later on when I press F10, my laptop screen flickers but nothing appears on the projector.
  
  sigh.. I am going to use most stupid method for tmrw at least. Going to use the proejctor document camera to 'shoot' the screen of my laptop... .. or else really headache dunno how neh.

  eh? That is real stupid (jokin) and one of its kind.
  
  Try out again, else its your graphics setting..
  
  you go to properties, display properties, setting...then go and play around with the resolution and options, definitely one will fit for your overhead projector...believe me. Cuz i face this problem before last time.

  If press FnF10 cannot, try changing the settings and tell it that it is connected to 2 "monitors"

  Did that too earlier.. the resolution and the 2 monitors thing....
  even downloaded driver for the projector...
  
  I think there might be something faulty w this projector cos last time they tried w another laptop it didnt work...
  
  Or mebbe my laptop is too ancient??

  Tried with another laptop and it didn't work, it's probably projector's fault.
