Replacement of Ipod Battery.

  It is advisable for me to bring my Ipod Mini over to Sim Lim and purchase the battery and let them change for me? My warrenty is over already.
  
  How much will it cost ah?

  Apple shop damn ex leh. Top up a bit and I can get myself a new MP3. My warrenty also over already. That's why I'm planning to go sim lim and try.

  I don't know. Entered my serial number in Apple's website and it says I bought my poddy on 15 feb 2005. Which is quite long already. I'm having the first gen ipod mini. Which has only 8hrs playback time.

  Went there just now. First store I went to told me replacement of batteries + installation is $80.
  
  Went around and asked some shops, they asked me to go to this shop on 5th floor. I paid $55 for the battery and installation + 6months warrenty. The service was good. The person changed the battery within 45 minutes.
  
  Previous store I went to, the uncle said $45 for battery + installation + 7 days warrenty. And the uncle say he'll take 1/2 a day. His attitude was damn sucky lah.
  
  Anyway, my ipod's working fine now. It's charging normally. The store's name is Atomware if I'm not wrong.

  Thanks for the info. But the last time i service my mini the battery replacement at Apple Centre only cost $70 plus. Bit more expensive, but think it is worth it as its original parts

  just changing the battery requires 45 minutes???
