  I was playing CounterStrike: Source when the graphic suddnely go haywire. I try to exit the program but it wouldn't move, so i restart my comp. However when the comp boot up i notice there are lines and dash all over the screen along with the usual wordings. The words are dotted and when the windows loading screen comes, there are red lines over. Then it comes to a blue screen, however the wordins are so badly "dotted" out that I hardly see what its means.
  
  I try start windows in safe mode, or use last good known configration, still the same problem. So i use my XP disc to try to do a repair.
  
  However after the blue-screened loading process, just after the windows loading screen, I come across to the blue-screen, however this time I could see the wordings. it says something like windows unexpected failed to start due to framebuff error. Any can help mah?

  Looks like a bug in the game caused this blue screen. Not too sure though.

  Frames are used to refer to graphic cards. The higher the number frames per second, the better it will be.
  
  Since there's some problems with frames, I suppose it has got to do with the game or your graphic card need to be updated.

  ram slot burnt like mine years back also chiong cs too much

  Okay, I managed to connect to the onboard graphic unit, did a windows repair. After tat i connect my monitor to the graphic card, the same problem occurs, tat is windows cannot start and a blue error screen shows something like "error caused by the following file: framebuf" and "system is in infinite loop, problem due to a hardware or software driver..."
  
  so wat should i do now?

  Try updating your drivers, through Windows Update or device manager.
  
  If it fails, bye bye to your on-board graphics card. Get a new graphics card ready.
