A novel solution for portable power was launched on Tuesday — the USB-rechargeable AA battery. With the same dimensions as a normal AA, USBCell's new battery snaps open to reveal a standard USB connection.
The UK company says it will soon be expanding its range to include phone and camera batteries. For now, the AA batteries — which are used in a multitude of devices — can be purchased online for £12.99, although they will be available in some electronics stores from mid-October.
Looks rather disgusting isnt it?
