I need to send my phone for servicing and the custmer service officer says i need to backup my contact list and other stuffs into a computer.

What cable they give you? Just plug in. If computer prompts, insert any CD they give you.

Anyway NT2 can post your phone model number and manufacturer? We will know then what interface to use (specific USB/ data cable, Infrared, Bluetooth etc)
Usually most phones from most manufacturers have the USB/ data cabble support while most Samsung models prefers BlueTooth and Nokia prefers both Blueth and Infrared. -
does yr phone support bluetooth ?
if yes juz buy a USB bluetooth connect to yr pc .. and can bluetooth the thing on yr hanphone to pc .. that wat i do .. but my phone cant backup contact list .. so i transfer all the contact list to the sim card -
