X2. I had some files overwritten 7 times by a security program, still can recover. Although they say file is damaged, managed to recover it.Originally posted by GHoST_18: -

It works for all the text documents I have. Go to go now. -
Step by step instructions...
Install and open PC File Recovery.
Select the first option as shown in the blue box I draw.
Select the drive which the files were previously saved. Then click on the green Tick button.
Search for the files. Look at the blue box which I draw. Type in the file name if you remember. If you can't remember the full file name, just type in the first few letters.
When the search is done, here's how it looks like:
Right click the file you want to recover and click Save to
File recovered!

Just use *.jpg or *.xls
It will list all the jpg or xls files you deleted... -
