Computer restarts when i try to save game

  The game is "Enter the Matrix"
  
  Whenever i save a level, the computer will restart itself.Sometimes it does, sometimes it doesnt.Most of the time it does.
  
  It is a DVD-ROM game and this restart bug only happens to this game but not the others.

  took the wrong pill?
  
  cd scratches? pirated one?

  might be comp too laggy...overheat...or cannot support the game properly
