I wish ar.... my connection is still very bad. Practically all sites are giving me a 404 error, because it's taking too long to load. Even antivirus got problems updating because it's just taking too long.Originally posted by LancerVII:yea... yesterday's connection is really screwed up... but now back to normal already...![]()
mine connection is v slow but still can make it..Originally posted by abao:dunno...
what do you think is the problem? does the introduction of the low ping service for gamers affect the connection of the rest of us?Originally posted by ndmmxiaomayi:I wish ar.... my connection is still very bad. Seriously, I don't know what's wrong. It could be some government plans (islandwide wireless and broadband stuff announced earlier this year) and works are going on right now.Originally posted by LazerLordz:what do you think is the problem? does the introduction of the low ping service for gamers affect the connection of the rest of us?
Try downloading it manually and save it to AVG folder. I tried that and it works very well. Only thing is download is taking a freaking long time, especially since it has "upgraded" its program. Definitions shouldn't be a problem, they are rather small files.Originally posted by Gordonator:
ya. my AVG can't update itself since yesterday.
what the hell is singnet up to?![]()
Then they should have seen the impact before-hand. I still believe that allowing Singtel to solely control the leased line circuits out of Singapore and fibre optics is just wrong because there is no incentive for them to introduce real solutions..Originally posted by ndmmxiaomayi:Seriously, I don't know what's wrong. The introduction of low ping service might affect the rest of us, since the lower the pings, the faster you can access a website. This will take up extra bandwith.
They probably think not many Singaporeans play games, especially those that connect to online servers like CS and MapleStory.Originally posted by LazerLordz:Then they should have seen the impact before-hand.
