  Even though my torrents are average, web pages are loading so damn slow!! Even the emoticons in Sgforums are taking so much time to finish loading!

  I'm also getting the same lag problem, using Singnet 256. Very irritating.

  As far as I know, seow is a Starhub user. So it doesn't seem like Singnet users are the only ones affected. But it will be a fact that most Singnet users are affected.

  juz felt singnet gettting more and more lag ..

  there isn't anymore Singnet 256 right? i was once a 256 user and was upgrade free of charge to 512.

  Yup, no more 256. The minimum speed for broadband is 512.

  i have found a way to make the internet faster. it works for me. those interested may wish to try it. set the connection to proxy.
  
  for firefox, go tools > option > connection setting > click on manually configure proxy
  
  for IE, go internet options > then lan settings or settings depending on ur connection > click use a proxy server
  
  address: proxy.singnet.com.sg
  port:8080
