If yes, I believe it is a tolerance issue; meaning that the mainboard is mouted such that it is warped but not noticeable. Remount the mainboard properly making sure nothing beneath the board comes in contact, or that it isn't warped such that the graphic card or RAM modules are not seated properly.

Basically, I meant that the mainboard of your PC, could be mis-mounted such that it is inperceptibly warped. Causing the RAM modules and or AGP card not to sit firmly into their respective slots. Als, it could be that some soldered points beneath your mainboard may be in partial contact with mounting plate of PC chasis.Originally posted by aloof_guy:what do you mean by that statement?

hmm. how do i do that? got step by step instructions?Originally posted by ShutterBug:Basically, I meant that the mainboard of your PC, could be mis-mounted such that it is inperceptibly warped. Re-mounting your mainboard, and re-inserting AGP card & RAM modules may solve this issue.
Well if you don't know how, or are not confident, I suggest you take it to the shop and have them do that for you.Originally posted by aloof_guy:hmm. how do i do that? got step by step instructions?
