  The game just opened and closed.
  
  like wise for NBA 2007. Opened to the game menu and then closes after 2 secs. shld be graphic card problem hor? Will updating help?

  The answer is: you can still update your GeForce 2 VGA card even though it is obsolete. Just download the normal GeForce drivers for WinXP (if that's what you're using).

  Can I suggest that you just do it the simpler way?
  
  Go to Start > Control Panel > System or right click My Computer and select Properties.
  
  Select the Hardware tab.
  
  Click on Device Manager.
  
  Locate Display adapters.
  
  Click on the "+" sign.
  
  Your graphics card will show.
  
  Right click the graphics card and select Update driver.
  
  Follow the instructions on screen.
