he is literally boerd to tears everyday. he prefers a laptop. he wants to play games with it. i dont want him to buy a crappy pc. any good laptops to recommend?
are desktops better for the same money? my brother probably doesnt know what he is talking about so i better decide for him. -

You buy the newest system and use it for yourself. And throw the old system to your brother.

Desktops are definitely better for the same amount of money. If he doesn't know anything about PCs, just give him your old one if it is still in working condition.

i bought mine with my own money and he is going to do the same. i cant let him buy a new pc for me to use and dump him the old one.

can get LCD screen with wireless mouse and keyboard...to make it as portable as possible in the house/room. -

tell him to save that money for a real portable laptop when he goes to poly

If he is bored, ask him to pick up a sport and get some sunshine instead of being cooped up at home gaming or surfing.
If he doesn't like to be exposed to the sun, get him to pick up squash then.
