My com is using a wired connection whreas my sis's com is using a wireless adaptor to connect to the router.
The prob is that I'm encountering low surfing speed. Is there a way to find out whether is there anyone else who might be connecting to my router?? I can't even c my sis's com connection in Network Neighbourhood.
For most wireless routers, unless you run through a set up in My Networks Place in every computer, computers sharing 1 internet source will not see each other. This is normal.
For the wireless adaptor computer, check whats the speed. Maybe check the connectivity as well, in case you really have a damn big house, or placed the router in a bad place.
You will only experience a big lag in speed when your neighbours use your network and downloads lots of data. With broadband and a decent wireless router, you can easily support 3 to 5 computers.
