Why internet connection so screwed up...

  I am on starhub broadband and am using a router. I dunno why but time and time again my internet connection will cock up, when I open IE below will state "Finding website". Then I have to switch my router off and on again after a bit, then I have to repair my connection under the local area network settings.
  
  It used to happen like everyday, then for the few months nothing, now everyday again. And the above makeshift solution doesn't always work. How??

  Mine's only today then got problem... Can't load webpages fast enough and only running at 5.5Mbs uploading speed the whole afternoon till now...
  
  So used to have an average speed of 412Mbs uploading...

  The funny part is when me's redirecting my surfing to overseas website like HSE in UK or OSHA in US, it takes a long long long long time to load the pages...
  
  Sometimes especially today, it will reply with "No Internet Connection, Unable to load page"...
  
  Something's wrong with the overseas routing service for StarHub?

  Quite likely. Because it's taking too long to connect. Once it hit a limit, you will get a timeout error or just simply unable to load.

  i used to use starhub cable connected to cable and i experience the same problem. sometimes(a few times a day) my internet connection disconnects by itself too and i hafta off and on the modem. but now i connect directly from cable to modem to my comp and there is no more problem
