Ive got another qn. Im using a nividia. Does updating increase my system requirments? Then i can play more games.
If tats so, how do i update my driver? i went to the website but got so many to choose frm, im scared that i download wrongly -
Update is a nicer way of saying "we actually want to fix the bugs we left in there but didn't tell you"

But they update and install direct x driver too. SImply downloading direct x from microsoft is useless without support from graphics driver itself.

I don't know why they would install Direct X, unless you are planning to run Vista.

Your DirectX is not up to date....
The DirectX that they are offering is the latest prior before Vista.
It's version 9.0c and has been around for quite a while. -

Neither do I know what graphic card you are using.
Right click My Computer and select Properties.
Click on the Hardware tab and click on the Device Manager button.
Click on the + sign next to Display adapters.
Reply with the display adapter name. -

Apparently there is two kinds of updates for my graphic card.
One is forceware, which is the one you gave me.Thanks
Another one is Video BIOS. -
