Firefox error message

  pls help me!!
  
  recently when i start firefox, it takes a long time to load the homepage and then this error message appears:
  
  The procedure entry point NS_Alloc could not be located in the dynamic link library xpcom.dll
  
  however i still can surf normally. also, it takes quite a bit to connect to the internet now also....dunno what's the prob....

  did u download or installed any new extensions or themes recently?? try uninstalling it, if problem persists, try downloading the new version 2.0

  NS_alloc is a network service in Windows. If there's problems with it, you might have problems with internet as well.
  
  No idea for the xpcom.dll, but according to the forums, it's an important file in Firefox. Without it, it will cause problems.
  
  The recommendation is to reinstall Firefox.
