Nah... sometimes it's not due to improper installation. Incompatibilities with Windows, buffer overflow, programming bugs, etc can cause a BSOD.
Most have got to do with your drivers, so it is usually recommended to update your drivers. If it has been updated, it should be roll back to the previous installation and try again.
