Question abt recovery cd

My window xp is in the form of recovery cd
Cause i lend to a fren whom needs it as we got same brand of laptop
i wonder will i be able to install xp (format) again or it is under one license oni?
coz i jus read somewhere in a thread that microsoft xp office only support 3 license only
so i wonder for recovery cd issit the same case -
Can lar, otherwise your laptop so lousy can only do 3 recoveries then buy a new laptop to get another 3 meh?

XP recovery CD by law, only support one laptop, even if it's the same brand. That's because it's made by OEM companies.
Explanation of OEM
XP Office is also the same, unless you buy Student and Teacher edition (up to 3 licenses)
Family edition can install up to 5 PCs.
Your friend may have problems activating Windows. The best is to contact the company itself.
