And I asked about the XP Pro CD (the original one) which you bought... not your PC. If it has been bought less than 30 days ago, you can try exchanging it...
And if your warranty has expired, and you bring it to the respective company for repairs, you have to pay. Just like if you bring to other shops to repair it. Or if they allow, buy the Recovery CD from them.
