Wireless network

  Hi guys, got a problem with my wireless network on my laptop.
  
  Here goes the story,
  
  I replaced my laptop's hdd with another laptop as the orignal one has problem. As I have the recovery CD for the toshiba laptop, I used it to recover the drivers in the new hard disk. I try to connect my laptop using wireless and open IE, but the IE browser shows error in opening. MSN also have have problem and when I press troubleshoot, it says I have problem with IP address and needs to renew. But the thing is I am connect to wireless but only 1Mbps, can see it at the icon down at task bar. Tried uninstall the driver and internet connection and reinstall the driver for the wireless modem but still happen. When I tried to connect to the internet using LAN cable, the internet works. But if I tried to connect using wireless, it always prompt out an error message. And if I tried to repair the network, it will casued my firend who is using the wireless to disconnect.
  My laptop wireless harware confirm ok cos it used to work with the old hd.
  
  Can someone teach me how to make my wireless work??

  I think you may have to do a complete recovery on this new hard disk, as Toshiba has a way of handling wireless stuffs. Toshiba drivers are needed to handle the wireless.
