NEED HELP IN USER problem

  Hello, i just got locked off the administrator. Is there anyway i can know the password of the admin?
  
  I can login as guest or helpdesk for now.
  
  Ive got important files under the administrator's user name. And my purpose is to be able to read it.

  Administrator by default has no password.

  I don't think you can do anything to the admin account... unless you have access to another admin account.

  Just a small question. What will happen if the admin forgets the password??

  You can try password cracking programs...
  
  There are programs which do that... but not for free.

  Can i secure my whole seperate account now by password to avoid the admin from changing my password or view my account or changing anysetting for my account.
  
  BECAUSE:
  control panel -> system tools -> computer management -> users -> user
  right click on the user's name and you can change the password

  You can secure your files, but not account.
  
  Admins have the power to do everything to the system, but they can't do anything to your files.
