  why use usb???
  cant u use cable wire from modern to pc.
  it doesnt not have too much conflict

  that time i 1st time use when i installed my motorola driver it wont work then i install the usb driver then can connect. both drivers are different

  if u have the cable for the network card i cant remember the cable name u should noe which 1. try connecting by yur network card

  ok theres usb and there is ethernet. i tried both and both dont work.
  
  im sure the starhub usb is installed because there in no option to install any usb drivers, and in one step it says it is now installing all neccessary files and drivers.

  is the driver from the cd or from microsoft default? if its the MS default, i recommend you to download this driver and run it so that it can update your current version of driver provided by MS.

  the user manual guide.if your haven't read it go read it first. it teaches you how to set up connection using your modem in different OS platforms

  I did it! The last step of the installation was actually extra and redundant.

  Did you plug in your cable modem into an original StarHub junction box or a modified junction box?
  
  If it's a modified box, you need to get the technician from StarHub to change it...
  
  If it's an original box, check your electrical riser where your Cable Box is located...
