"Insufficient Memory"

  I bought a canon mp 160 (printer/scanner) yesterday
  
  installed and tried printing and scanning yesterday, it was ok.
  
  Today, i can only print but cannot scan anymore
  
  the programme mp navigator wouldn't load, it says "Insufficient Memory"; so i tried pressing the scan button on the machine, also the same thing "Insufficient Memory" comes up...
  
  I closed the other application which was running and tried again, still the same.....
  
  how?

  Your laptop not enough ram lar deh, the cache buffer must be humongous.

  now the norm is 1gb leh
  
  though i would love to have 2gb.......

  I thought someone said 512 should be enough? Random error only nia ma.
