What are your opinions on the following Asus motherboards:
1. P5B deluxe/WiFi
2. P5W DH deluxe/WiFi
3. P5N32-SLi premium/WiFi
Which has better performance?
Can I still use IDE HDDs on the motherboards?
Having 2 x PCI-Ex16, can I use two GPU on the motherboards?
What are your opinions on the fanless GPUs?
What's the difference between the following:
1. EN7600GS
2. EN7600GS top silent
3. EN7600GT
4. EN7600GT silent -
Sorry, ASUS M/B i'm not too sure.... using Gigabyte now.... If your ASUS M/B is the Intel 775 type, there is only 1 IDE port. Yor CD/DvD rom will have no place to put. Yes, if your M/B support SLI, then you can use 2 graphic card..... but expensive lah...... the cards you listed can't support DirectX 10, therefore even if your SLI is good, can't really use for Window Vista games. Suggest like me, just get a mid range or slightly better card to use for next 9-12 mths, then upgrade to a DirectX 10 card and use window Vista..... 9-12 mths should be enough for Microsoft to solve most of the bugs on Vista.
7600GS & 7600GT
GS stands for the lowest range of the 7600 serise cards
GT stands for higher end ones....
Example - lowest to highest
7600GS - 7600 - 7600GT - 7600GTX
As far as i know, GTX is the best.......

Went to SLS the other day to ask their advice. Whatever jargon and mumbo jumbo that they mentioned went over my head.
I've got 2 IDE HDDs (20 and 40Gb) that are relatively new. I was hoping I can salvage those and use on this new PC I am planning to assemble. Another reason why I am trying to use back the HDDs is because they are loaded with genuine Windows XP. Anybody know whether can I upload my existing Window XP on this new pc and use the old serial number again, without having the 'product may not be genuine' window pop-up each time?
I was also told that it is possible to get some adapter for IDE HDD to connect to SATA. Is that true? -

If i am right the top silent and silent should be passive cooling while the others active cooling. -

IDE HDDs absolutely has no place in a SATA motherboard anymore?
