Bloody Hell..., just came back from "M1 @ Bugis Junction"..., waste mine farking time...
So eagled for this particular service and now felt so cheated..., 'unlimited' usage capped at 2GB/MONTH, thank you M1 for your generous false-advertisement (When Limit Is Exceeded, Charges Will Be At S$0.01/KB In Block Of 10KB). Or otherwise, they also have the rights to terminate your service without warning, and you will be forfeited the amount equivalent to your six-months bill-payments. Fark..., i can exceed the 2GB limit in two hours.
VOIP services is not allowed and will be BLOCKED...!!!
Monthly SIM-Card charges applies (At S$5.00/MONTH)...!!!
Lost/Damage Of HSDPA Devices (No Warranty) --> S$350.00...!!!
BOYCOTT...!!! -

It's right there at M1 BB website. At least their T&C are quite clear and bigger fonts than those of ST & SH.

using common sense a little, this is for notebook users who wanna check emails and basic net surfing for info when they are on the road
not for u to watch videos from youtube or dl movies from BT.
the cap is there to prevent abuse
if everyone buy this, then no one will need landline broadband.......
so u had the wrong intention and impression when u look at this device....
there is now free wireless@SG by the way -

Lol...I was actually quite interested and went down to the M1 shop at Paragon this afternoon to check it out. The salesmen were too busy attending to a few bunches of middle-aged men to notice me, so I just left and thought maybe I'll check it out online instead. So thanks to you guys for the info.

i have to thank VODKA KE0601 for the announcement of m1 "FAIR USE POLICY". they are simply "playing with words" here. who read the t&c anyway? i find that they should highlight this point to their potential customer. come on, be realistic. people are looking at this as an alternative to their wired broadband.

This morning a gentleman called Petet who responded to my call for callers, told me he gave up his JetPack service becoz he wanted to go unlimited, and the $38 seemed pretty attractive. Not anymore, since he is only getting 100 kbps on his M1 Broadband Line, compared to the 500 kbps he used to get on his JetPack. "It's like the dial-up days when you see the GIF pictures taking its time to load!" -
i will like to hightlight another risk. you may exceed 2 gbytes unknowingly or worse, bill wrongly & cannot prove it.

How can I check how much data I've used?
Click on the Usage tab on the Vodafone Mobile Connect software and you will be able to see the approximate amount of your data usage - total of what you have sent and received during the current dial-up session. However, do take note that Vodafone Mobile Connect uses advanced compression software and so does your mobile phone network. Thus the software provides only an indication of your usage and not the actual amount.
