Buy a laptop/pc now? Or wait for Poly next year?
Cause I am damn sian of using this comp now. Very lag. Cannot play game. Only can surf net, MSN. I wanna do other things that I can't do with this comp. Like creating videos, or doing macromedia stuffs, learning things by myself. Not so into the gaming world. But more into designing.
Problem is that I am not sure whether I can go into a Poly anot. Because of my sucky maths results that I get throughout the year.

depends on which poly u go.. for me, i heard that RP sell laptop damn exp. but as for SP and NP, the price is about $200-$300 cheaper.
laptop is not always the choice. Buy only when your poly course needs it. for me, i admit to SP engineering school which doesn't require to buy.
but then my hand itchy go buy then in the end nv use.. i regretted, and i rather use that money to build a com which have much better specs than my current laptop.
ps: when freshmen comes to poly, they will hold a pc fair in school -
wait poly first but i'd 70% recommend u to buy a comp nevertheless.

Wait till next year, computers can go obsolete within 3 months.
However, getting one now will enable you to get used to your laptop/pc and the applications you intend to use by the time you start poly, if you get in. -
