Avast AV question

  Avast anti virus has got updates likee once a day. Is this normal?

  It's full of mistakes trying to correct itself, of course its normal.

  oh me gawd.. my avast just had an illegal operation and shut down bt itself...

  mine i think auto update silently... i dunno... they neva pop up asking to be updated...

  Updates are once a day... unless you are using the freaking Norton, which updates once a week.
  
  I think NOD32 updates have sort of gone haywire also.

  nia, im still using norton on my com....Now im using the com in taiwan, using avast.

  my norton updates a once every 1-2 weeks any problem? some times every 2 days will update, but occasionally. my AVG will update every few days, izzit cos AVG found more virus and added to their data base for definition of virus faster than norton? OR IS THERE SOMETHING ELSE *creepy music*

  Norton updates once per week or sometimes more.
  
  Most antivirus update their definitions everyday. Not that AVG found more viruses.
