about harddisk - increasig disk space

  Hi, i have a Q.
  
  If i have a 40gb hardisk already installed into my com, can i add on another 40gb harddisk into my com without formatting my harddisk?

  If the hard disk comes pre-formatted, you don't need to format it again.
  
  If not, you have to format before using it.
