My laptop got this wireless thingy, so I on it today and it detected a few networks that are actually unsecured...so me, as usual playful, decided to connect and see if can connect to the internet from there.
In the end, it works and so I am wondering... is this illegal or not huh?
Especially recently theres this young guy who tapped on people's internet then kana jailed/fined/whatever right? -

On the other hand, it's the dumbness (or evilness) of the owner that makes you fall into this trap. If you are unlucky enough to get an evil owner, please go and change your passwords. -

linksys... u try change his router preference.
u go start>run>input: http://192.168.1.1
then username:admin
password:admin
u go try see see... maybe the defualt gateway is 192.168.1.1.. and the default pw/user is admin
