  I'm creating a website for my mum's business. Any easy to use interface for web hosting?
  
  Its good if its cheap too.
  
  Anyway, how much is the average fee for someone to make a website?

  Cannot say, local and overseas different, if your target audience is local people aka SG, you should get a local server, so that it is faster.

  This I doubt so. Of so many webhosts I've tried, only Bravehost has. Yahoo! has too, but I find it user-unfriendly.

  Most free web hosting sites are filled with advertisment since that will pay for your monthly subscriptions. However if you have a site that you pay for monthly they are usually free of ads so you can try linking some from google or other domains to pay off or offset the monthly subscription fees. Who knows if you have the right ads offered from the right domain to the right people at the right timing you can earn income in access.
  
  As for the web design i think it should be a one time fee or payment. If you take some time on your own doing the web pages it should not be too difficult and you can upload them onto the web without paying someone else for the design costs. There are also free programmes and utilities available for simple and fast template-style webpage creation.

  hm, u still can get local one la, but i personally think local is better, so if anything happens, at least u can find them in SG.
  
  website builder huh?! very few have....if u really require, maybe u go build your website at freewebs.com/bravenet then copy the html into a page, then upload to your server

  ok la... dreamwear best but then not so user friendly. swish is user friendly(good for beginners) but then function lose to dream weaver.

  get a hosting from korea.. they have the best internet bandwidth and always is a server for global.

  dun use frontpage!
  
  every time someone here uses frontpage, i always ended up having to edit the codes manually.. but dats another matter altogether la.
