media player and anti spyware

  hey people, what's the best media player in the net right now? i'm using xp...
  cos some players cant change sound formats of .DAT files(VCD) to L/R sides (i.e. WMP)...
  
  and i've just installed mcafee antivirus only... without antispyware... what's the best? other than spyware doctor... i will look for the serials myself if the program needs one...

  I like bsplayer for borderless playback screen captures, ff and rw functions. media player classic for jack of all trades.

  Media Player Classic VLC Player, all FOC. Google it.

  anti spyware... nvm mind la.. let them spy me.. in the end i use computer for gaming needs.
  
  as for video player.. i choose Mplayer (4.62mb in size). and also can read more file formats than windows media classic
