help on firefox again...

  i opened my firefox today and the browser settings were set to default....
  
  settings as in placing my url bar, bookmarks icon etc at the specific place...
  
  after i click customize and done...i closed it and reopened...but the settings were back to default once again...anyoneknowswhat's happening...thanks in advance...

  Try this:
  
  Go to Tools > Options
  
  Click on Main at the top.
  
  Under Startup, you will see these 2 options:
  
  When Firefox starts: Show my homepage
  Home page: Type in the URL
  
  Click OK.
  
  As for Bookmarks... can't figure out why yet.
  
  You might have to rebuild Firefox Profile if something is corrupted there.

  guys...found the solution to my problem...reinstalling will not help...if the same problem happens to your firefox after the update...simply open your firefox in safe mode via Start > Programs > Mozilla Fire > Mozilla Firefox (Safe Mode)
  
  after that a troubleshooting window will pop up...select Reset toolbars and controls and choose Make Changes and Restart...
  
  re-customize your stuff and your firefox should be back to normal now...

  mine was worse... sometimes i minimize the window.. it just disappear from the taskbar... but its not closed actually...

  Then it's common. Especially when coupled with optical mouse.
  
  Optical mouse sometimes go haywire, so you can actually accidentally click on the X without you realizing.

  yes, i am using the new firefox.
  
  anyway i find the background and fonts of sgforums very dull.
  
  i change the background colour and fonts. it looks much more interesting.

  walau, other sites affected too.
  
  why cant they allow us to change the fonts and colours of specific sites?

  many time when i on my computer firefox will prompt, "firefox have close illegally. do you want to restart a new session or continue from last session?"

  Close Firefox properly.
  
  Before shutting down the PC, click on the X, then shut down, otherwise, Firefox will deem it as some illegal operation.

  Hey, for those who use Firefox version 2.0.0.1, try pressing [ctrl] + middle-scroll (if ur mouse have a scroll wheeler). And see the differences. Btw, that's the zoom in/out thing.

  hey...i also got question hope u guys can help...
  my firefox in my laptop always has this update msg:
  "one or more components cannot be updated properly, pls restart...."
  
  but then i close everything liao leh....and uninstall and reinstalled it still got problem...
