I have just written a complaint letter to Singnet.

I am extremely angry and disappointed with Singnet's customer service.
My bills for the month of October and November has been tremendous. Hence, i have called up 1610 to cancel all the secondary services i do not need. This includes the following:
1). My album (1gb) for "xxx" account
2). Wireless@SG for "xxx" account
3). ALL services for "xxx2" account which includes email, anti-spam, virus scan.
All the above, i have NOT even used one bit, and is required to pay.
However, after calling the staff, i believed to be on the 2nd week of Dec (between 11-13 dec), he reassured me that these "useless" and chargeable services will be taken off. But I have just received this month's bill for Dec to Jan, and AGAIN all these useless services I have to pay again!
I have no qualms to write in to Straits Times and Today Forum pages and to bring this to the town council if the problem is not resolved as soon as possible. And i have kept this email as a reference as well.
I wish your prompt reply as soon as possible and will also keep a record of the person who called me or email me, for reference, since apparently work is not being done here!

I got so fed up with it that I recontract, so that I pay only half of what I'm paying now. -
I have send a 2nd email to them.
Why is it that customers are NOT given the option to unsubscribe secondary services such as Myalbum (1gb), secondary email, outdoor wireless etc, on your Singnet website.
Instead, they are supposed to call the customer hotline to do that, which often makes our blood boil due to the numerous press this, press that for options, etc and had to wait for long for an officer to be at the other side to respond.
Further, on the first email i have send to you earlier, i will also like to highlight the fact that i went all the way to the citylink Singnet/Singtel branch (last week of Nov to 1st week of Dec) to clarify on my Singnet bills for Oct and Nov.
The officer took down my particulars and assured me that she will call me back. However, she has NOT called me even up to now. The service seems to me like more of patronising the customer and pacifying them rather than genuinely promising to do what she has promised. That is to call me and settle my pressing problem.

coz abt the same price as singnet..
but then i do a calculation abt the installation charges and monthly subscriptions, i think i will make do with Singnet now lor.. altho their service really CMI!!

anyone has better ideas how to make them work?
If they dont answer my email, i cannot get through their hotline (packed like mad), or they promised then month after month bill me the same thing and overcharge me with services i already asked to unsubscribed how????

Firstly, thank you for choosing signnet, however, we regret to tell u that our management would not allow it, instead we would just charge u 1/2 the price. Your service would be taken down in 3 months time you would only be charged 1/2 price per month. Sorry for the inconveniece caused.

Singtel the customer service ppl leave a memo for their supervisor..
den the supervisor will act cute and call up the dunnoe who and who.. den the dunnoe who and who wrote down your request den leave it there to eat dust..
den if you complaint again...
they will bring out the excuse that they are also handling millions of ppl (as many as NZ cows) at the same old time... den they'll try to leave a memo again... and call up dunnoe who and who again.. and den the dunnoe who.. will look at your memo again~!

Seems like, like that, by "chian kun da nuo yi" and their customer service, they manage to "scam" us of more money... -

not long ago, singtel aso charged me more...
they changed their payment from paying at the end of the month to paying at the start of the month. So I have to pay b4 I get to use now
but maybe tats because i switched from jetpack to broadband? -

I got the worst problem with them... I got so fed up that I cancelled my broadband, home line and handphone. My internet and handphone with Singnet went back at least 10 years yet I had to made the decision to cancel their services.. They are the worst lot...
