How to speed up internet connection speed?

Im using 100mbps

Is there some problem?

Im using maxonline 6000(or 4000)

with maxonline 4000(or 6000same thing) with 100.0mbps, is it normal to have that kind of download rate and upload speed as posted??

If it is abnormal, where does the problem lie at?

You don't even know what you are using...

Anyway, for wireless users, please choose another channel. Don't use the default channel, or you will find the speed crawling.

Singnet users who are using Firefox browser, change your network settings for Firefox.

Tools > Options > Advanced

Click on the Network tab.

Under Connections, click Settings.

Select Manual proxy configuration.

In the HTTP proxy box, type in proxy.singnet.com.sg. Port number 8080

Apply the settings.

And one of the Firefox tweaks that somebody posted here... go dig it out.

theres only a connection wire connected to my com from a cable modem thingy surfboard(the words that i see on the device)

on my computer, i dont need to dial or anything, it just connects itself to the internet as soon as computer starts up.

You can speed up your internet connection by tweaking the registry or by modifying the modem.
