It lies at the remote end, your destination. Your destinated sites have their throttle speed for accessing and downloading and depending on what rates they pay to host their site and what rates you pay them (or even free no payments at all!) data exchange speeds varies. -

if server slow but you have 100mbps plan also you cannot get full 100mbps, However you have a 100mbps bandwidth which means you can DL lots of stuff at high speeds in one shot. -

I'm using a 1500Kbps Singnet Broadband. Any idea how to tweak when I'm using Firefox and Internet Explorer? Heard from a friend that the default modem that Singnet give will limit the speed of the Broadband, how can I overcome this to get full usage? -
Firstly, you need to know how to take the modem apart, You need a soldering iron because it will require some hardware modification and rewiring. Make sure you have some spare wire and solder flux ready with you just in case you make some mistakes. Once you got the above ready, post here, and I'll reply again....possibly.
