Samsung laptops run for a month

BOFFINS at Samsung Electronics have developed a docking station equipped with a fuel cell capable of powering a laptop for a month.
According to Engadget, the new docking station, which works with Samsung's Q35 ultraportable laptop contains a 1200-watt-hour fuel cell.
The dock can power a laptop eight hours a day, five days a week for a month. Apparently the boffins are working on a miniature version which can power a laptop for more than 15 hours "on a coffee cup's worth of fuel". Although it is not clear how much fuel there is in a cup of coffee.
The dock is powered by a Direct Methanol Fuel Cell with a maximum output of 20 watts. This technology is jolly good at producing small amounts of power over a long periods at low temperatures, making them well suited to mobile devices.
Samsung says that the cell's 650Wh/L energy density is four times that of its competitors. Apparently the dock will hit the shops at the end of next year. -

its an added accessory and compatible to all laptops. So its just like an added battery pack, but this one can last 1 month!

we can call the battery -- "power ranger" -
they never say what tests they put the laptop through to make it last 8 hr a day for one month.They can just on the laptop 8 hrs a day and leave it there for one month, so i doubt the fuel cell will really last one month
