Image Conversion

  There's this jpg file I wanna convert to psd to get out the layers, how do I do it? I don't have photoshop but I do have GIMP.

  JPG files are already flattened. You can't extract out the layers even if you convert to PSD

  actually, jpg files had all the layers combined, if u wanna get out the layers, u must have the original psd format. then from there, u go to the adobe website, download the photoshop CS2 trail, then u pm me, i seee wad i can do to help u activate u noe the keygen thingY?

  Lol i have also. Used to. Now its lost somewhere....that keygen damn power 1.can generate lotsa serials for lotsa adobe software

  It don't matter if you are 30 minutes late or months or years late. The day the different file formats were created and the knowledge about their nature and capabilities released to the very first user made millions and thousands of people later than the others.
  
  Jpeg is good as it made display of images over the general webpgages tolerable with its smaller file size and offers some preventions from copycats when layers were all merged into one and file size reduced with pixels to prevent a good quality printout.
  
  Maybe TS should request the base file from the originator of the image and work on it in GIMP then?
