  Why isit that sometimes when i put a song cd into my dvd drive, the details of the song is shown but sometimes the details of the song is only show as track number?

  i think u must be connected into the internet then it will auto update the names..if u don't, i will juz show track numbers....

  you must connect to the internet so that the details of the cd will be loaded in

  You must connect it to the CDDB online, then you can see the track names.

  I am using a broadband.It is always connect to the internet?Is there anything i can do? If so how do i connet using WINDOWS MEDIA PLAYER?

  Have you tried open WMP. Go to Tools>Options>Privacy Tab
  
  And check what are the details you've check.
  
  Go to player tab and try as well.

  Some newly released CDs may not have their information uploaded into CDDB yet, that's why the information is not available.
  
  Some CDs are self-made. Example, your friend burned an audio CD for you. Since it's not an official release, details of that CD of course won't be downloaded and displayed from the net.
  
  If it's an original disc, give CDDB some time to update it's info.
