As for 533 DDR2 i have done some homework since my last posts here and read some comparison between the 533 and 667. Apparently most reviews over what i can found in the net tells them to be close. Since DDR2 is running on a new concept and latency cannot be mainatined at the usual '4'(533), a faster 667 has '5' for latency. An increase in latency for the trade off with increased speed over 533 makes the 2 configuration of rams of almost even capabilities and performances in most applications. Maybe an 800 or 1033 will make a difference but i think you can start with 533 as what orion wrote.
7600Gt is a faster version of the 7600 series while 7900GS is not as fast as a 7900GT i presume.
Never used XFX maybe you need to read some reviews and find out for yourself. -

The coolermaster extremepower 430W has a rather weak single 12V rail which may be unable to power your system if you decide to upgrade further , don't skimp on PSU as many people don't realize that it is the single most important piece of hardware.It powers your system, if you get a lousy PSU and it dies, it may take other component with it.somemore you can reuse the PSU next time if you need to upgrade
As for the graphics you mus tell us what games you are playing and how much details you want.In this case, since you are using a 17inch, a 7600GT should be okay.You are paying more for the "XFX" and the "XXX edition" branding and all the frills inside, where actually you could pay much lesser ad get the same card so the xpertvision one should suit you.A 7900GS is basically using the same core as the 7900GT but it is castrated as four of its pipes are "locked".It is definitely better than the 7600Gt due to its increased memory bandwidth.
Motherboard, depends on your preference, if you want stability, Intel is the way to go
get a hitachi hard disk, i had a not so nice experience trying to return my faulty maxtor for warranty when it died on me -

7900GS should be good enough for you, get the xpertvision one at 285.As for the PSU, you can take the Topower 450W or HEC Acepower 480W.You are good to go with this setup.
