  on the start program, click on Run, and type 'msconfig', go to startup and disable whatever u think u do not want to run.
  
  usually it's better to disable msn or icq as they slow ur pc startup.

  i think norton anti virus is slowing up my pc.... coz it always shows up last,
  is it ok if i disabled it

  dude you can always start ur computer 1st and then open norton right?
