Hi guys. Can someone tell me why this balloon keep appearing on my screen?
" ! Windows - System Error " There is an IP address conflict with another system on the network"

Either someone is using a static IP address and you are using that IP address as well, or you are using static IP address and it is the same as another PC.
Set the router/modem to assign the IP address via DHCP, instead of manually assigning one. -

Most of the time, typing 192.168.1.1 to access the modem and change the settings over there.
It's likely that someone changed the IP address, or your modem has assigned 2 identical IP addresses to different machines. -

in the command prompt type in: ipconfig
it will look something like this:
Connection-specific DNS Suffix . :
IP Address. . . . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.1.101
Subnet Mask . . . . . . . . . . . : 255.255.255.0
Default Gateway . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.1.1
.
by looking at the default gateway, that is your router configuration page ip.
mine's 192.168.1.1
so to access to your router configration page,
go to start>run>input: http://192.168.1.1 -

Go to Start > Run and type in cmd
Type in ipconfig
Look at your default gateway. Type in that address. -
