  Acherly hor I was searching how to download from rapidshare.com but then I came across many techniques in my research.
  
  Now I know how to access blocked websites, the ones blocked from ISP.
  
  One simple way is by using a circumventor.
  
  An example is this website:
  
  Grab.cc

  I know, now many webservers put such restrictions.
  
  In fact because I failed 2 times on 2 free available webservers, I had to make my own webserver, with Apache and stuff.
  
  Maybe you can find a webserver which still accept, but I doubt it.
  
  I think you just use those already implemented like Grab.cc.
  
  Actually, why would you want to put a proxy on your webserver instead of using Grab.cc?

  their bandwidth is limited, so sometimes free proxies can be very slow.
  
  secondly, security can be compromised.. they can intercept the data transfer between u and the websai u are visiting.. including ur passwords. phpproxy and chi-proxy are open source, cannot guarantee the proxy websai did not anyhow modify.
  
  so best is ownself install, ownself use.

  Oh, so you want it for security reasons, like internet surfing?
  
  I was wondering why you need to put proxy on your webserver, does that mean you want to use your webserver as a proxy for internet surfing?
  
  In that case, perhaps you can build your own webserver with Apache and then add Perl and CGI-Proxy.
