My computer can't read USB mass storage devices help!!

  When I plug USB mass storage devices into my computer, it makes that sounds when USB devices are being plug in and there is this safely remove hardware icon which means the USB is recognised but when I go to my computer the mass storage devices are no where to be found. Please help me thanks!!!!

  u tried detecting hdd using disk management?
  
  most probably it will not show up there but just wanna cfm only.
  
  on the system tray right, got a usb icon. right click it and safety remove it. does it recognise it as a mass storage device? or just unknown

  It acknowledge that it is a mass storage device. I dunno how to do that disk management thingy.

  Can you close My Computer and open it again? Sometimes, it is not immediately shown. Closing and opening it again will help.
  
  If it doesn't, type in manually. Let's say you have your hard disk partitioned into C and D, you have a CD/DVD-ROM drive. The next logical letter is F.
  
  So you will go to Start > Run and type in F:\
  
  Can you access it?

  Ya... sometimes juz got to wait a while for it to load... But it could also mean that the USB device is spoilt... have you tried with any other USB devices yet?

  Closing and opening doesn't helps. And the drive can't be run. And only mass storage devices can't be run, I've tested my thumbdrive, my handphone and my camera, all can't be run as long as it's classified under mass storage devices.

  Do you have other USB devices?
  
  Plug them in and see what happens. I'm suspecting that your USB drivers have some problems.

  The other USB device works (ie scanner, printer, mouse, keyboard, light, etc), only Mass Storage devices ain't detected and all my USB devices are updated. Could be a problem with windows?

  It could be, since other USB devices work.
