  Today it appeared in my task manager
  
  Googled it and the results is split between a legit MS process and malware. Is it harmless or harmful?

  Look at the user who started this file. It should be system, not by you. If it's you, then find this file and upload it to either Jotti or VirusTotal for a scan.
  
  The good conime is at C:\Windows\System32 and has a file size of 27 bytes.
